Professional Experience

I have been a licensed psychologist for 29 years. In that time I have worked for NYPD Psychological Services, Nassau University Medical Center, Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens, taught doctoral and post doctoral courses at 麻豆直播, CW Post and St John’s University. I have maintained an active private practice since licensure and have worked with a wide tandem of populations and diagnostic categories. Personal Statement

I have been trained as a psychoanalyst and am committed to this method. I believe it to be the most robust and curative of the talking therapies. I also have a commitment to ensuring that psychoanalysis is taught to the new generations that they may continue to advance and adapt it as societal demands change. I consider myself to be a practicing analyst, a teacher, mentor and standard bearer for the profession.

Courses Previously Taught

In the Adult Program I have taught, Current Controversies in Relational Psychoanalysis

In the Group Program I have taught classes on the British Object Relations School and

conducted an ongoing process group.

At CW Post’s Doctorsl Program I have taught Group Psychoanalysis to 3rd year students.

At St. John’s University Doctoral Program I supervised 2nd year students on their case work.

At Nassau University Medical Center I present in the intern seminar series a course on Object Relations Theory.

Research Interests

I am interested in the psychology of men, symbolization and mentalization, and group

process.

Projects Mentored

I have been a second author and principal investigator on three doctoral dissertations at City College of New York doctoral program in Physiological Psychology.

I have been a first and second reader on two Post Graduate final papers at 麻豆直播.
